From Clemson to the NH: A Serendipitous 14-Day Journey Across 15 States.
Embarking on a 14-day vacation, our family had no concrete plans except for a visit to our first stop, Clemson University, and a stay at a friend’s lake house in New Hampshire. We also held a genuine desire to explore the enchanting Blue Ridge Parkway, known for its stunning landscapes and unique climate in the Blue Smoky Mountains of Appalachia. During our adventure, we crossed a total of 15 states. Each state added its own unique character to our journey, painting a mosaic of landscapes, cultures, and American history.
Our first stop was Clemson University. One of the reasons for choosing Clemson was to visit our daughter’s favorite teacher’s alma mater. Additionally, we were intrigued to see their esteemed golf team and experience The Walker Course firsthand.
We dedicated half a day to exploring the lively Tiger city, which was filled with the invigorating spirit of youth. The campus itself exuded a vibrant atmosphere, as evidenced by the ubiquitous bright orange Tiger Paws—an iconic symbol of Clemson University. The Tiger Paw represents strength, spirit, and unity, and it seemed to be proudly displayed everywhere we turned, leaving a lasting impression on us.
