Day 3 in Helen: A Charming Alpine Escape in North Georgia.

Our second day of vacation led us to the picturesque mountain city of Helen in North Georgia. The entrance to this alpine village left us in awe, as if stepping into a real-life German Christmas cookie ( so was charming and decorative ambiance of the city, resembling the sweetness and allure of a Christmas cookie). Every corner was adorned with cute decorations, creating a fairy tale-like atmosphere.

We enjoyed a fun-filled day, starting with tubing on the nearby river, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The Bavarian-style shopping center beckoned us with its unique shops and souvenirs. For dinner, we relished in the delicious authentic German cuisine and refreshing beer at “the BierGarten” restaurant.

Our time in Helen was nothing short of magical, leaving us with a desire to return and experience its charm once again.
